The Park Street Inn B&B- Nevis, MN

The boy decided to surprise me with a night at the Park Street Inn, and he did a great job!  We were celebrating our 7th anniversary and he surprised me at dinner (Iven’s on the Bay) with a print out of this B&B.  We got in around 7:30pm and the Inn keeper, Linda, greeted us and showed us around.  We felt at home right away!

roomThe house is 100 years old this year and is in beautiful condition.  It is kept up very well.  The decor is simple, but elegant and stays true to the time period.  There is a nice fireplace in the living room downstairs with cozy chairs and a sofa.  The staircase brought us up to our room, which he booked the Suite- and it was amazing!  My style for sure.  The house has beautiful woodwork/wood floors, lovely quilts and pillows.  The hot tub is brand new and fits two, beautiful green and white surrounded by a wood cove- dimmer lights above and the water stayed very hot to fill the tub almost to the top!

hot tubThey have very nice robes for you to use and Linda provided us with a nice corkscrew and silverware so we could enjoy our desserts!  The bed is very comfy and they have a library of movies to pick from, so we watched “Breakfast at Tiffany’s” and sipped some wine!  There is an adjoined sitting room with another full size bed, the room is adorable and has wicker furniture, all white with a pale blue/green accent.  That room would be nice for several ppl to stay in.

dining roomWe woke in the morning to head down to breakfast and the table was all set very nicely for us with china and awesome mugs for the coffee.  We had chocolate muffins, and a nice portion of mixed fruit to start along with orange juice/water and great coffee.  Than we enjoyed cream cheese raspberry stuffed french toast with maple syrup and bacon done perfect!  It was all delicious and there was low music playing and we had great conversation.  It was a lovely stay and I would recommend it to anyone!
