Nichole’s is a truly fine bakery and a sweet spot to stop for a delicious treat and cup of tea or coffee. I ordered a piece of the lemon meringue pie as I’m a sucker for fluffy pie. I also ordered the most adorable petit fours that came packaged as a Tiffany box. It was almost too cute to eat; I wanted to put it in my purse and save it forever. However, when I decided to eat it there were no regrets. It was almond flavored cake with the lightest frosting and it was superb. I can imagine this place would be amazing to host a baby or bridal shower or at least purchase their beautiful pastries for an occasion.
I ordered a regular cup of coffee and it was very good coffee. I believe it was French pressed as you could see the oils and the taste was rich and flavorful. I will be making this a new favorite place to visit when I come to Fargo. Eventually I will try each and every pastry not a bad goal in life right? Hey, it looks like they serve lunches as well!
